The LA are pleased to report that the outstanding amount of £1,500 raised at the 2009 Brunch at the Four Seasons will be spent on the following items split between the resources as laid out below:-

RJCC

Dining Room Microphone £150
This will replace the old microphone which will aid members who have a hearing impairment.

Play Mats for the Parent and Toddler Group approx £500
New wipeable mats will benefit the babies and mothers in the play group.

Mitkadem £350

This money will be used for the upkeep and running of the allotment and a towards a trip to the cinema for all members, some of whom have never been before.

Vi & John Reubens £250

New curtain for the front of the Ark in the Synagogue.

The Dennis Centre £250

This money will be put towards the cost of engaging entertainers for the year at the centre.

On Wednesday 8th December 2010 170 Ladies attended The Four Seasons Hotel, Canary Wharf, for The Local Angel, Jazz in the City Lunch. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal and were entertained with a compilation of favourite songs by the very talented Brett Warren and Ross Wall.

The event, which has now become a yearly occasion, was a complete sellout and raised in excess of £21,000 for Jewish Care services in Redbridge.

Gayle Klein and all The Local Angels would like to thank all the guests and event sponsors, especially Alan Selby who was this years main event sponsor.

Gayle said "The amount of money raised is staggering and we are proud that 100% of the money we raise goes directly into the charity to help where it's needed."
